You are probably familiar with the food chart or pyramid that has been the backbone of healthy eating for many years. A similar chart is of course a very good idea to keep in mind when it comes to sports nutrition.
The web site of the University of Illinois Extension featured a food guide system that can help in evaluating the effectiveness of your diet. This pyramid training table guide presented has five divisions of food groups, each division equipped with the list of major nutrients supplied by those foods included in the group.
Another useful chart on sports nutrition gives off the main functions of the four main nutrients needed by the body and the recommended intake for each.

As with any science, there are different people saying so many different things these days - sports nutrition is not the exeption. But reading a good book on the subject can nontheless be very rewarding.
Susan Kleiner’s book on sports nutrition for example, High-Performance Nutrition: The Total Eating Plan to Maximum Your Workout, is a highly acclaimed work and presents what one needs to eat in line with a workout plan to achieve optimum results. The author, among other things, advocate the importance of a good partnership between diet and exercise in performing excellently in sports.

Honda’s hybrid cars are among the most popular out there, despite their high price - how come?

Our modern cars are coming in newer and more stylish designs these days that it is very easy to overlook that the basic product in essence is the same as it was when it was first introduced 100 years ago - a vehicle relying on a combustion engine in order to propel ir forward.
Granted, these engines have become cleaner, more powerful and more efficient but there are a few unavoidable drawbacks left that we simply can not get rid of.
It would be ideal for our vehicles to use fuel cells instead and preferably some other fuel source that oil. But as long as these technologies aren’t fully developed the hybrid cars are one of the best alternatives available.
